Check out these tips.
I wish I could take credit for these tips. However many have come from the newspaper and from others who have sent them to me.
1. Add some helpful apps such as a Flashlight app.
2. Use your camera to record things you can’t remember. “Where you parked your car!”
3. Put your shopping list in Notes.
4. Use “Contacts” to keep numbers of hotels when traveling.
5. If you plan on losing your phone; be sure to have the “Find My iPhone” app.
6. You can trust your iPhone to do online banking but do the following:
- Don’t use your banking app on a public Wi-Fi network. No McDonalds or Starbucks!
- Use your bank’s mobile app rather than connecting via Safari.
- Lock your iPhone by going into “Settings” then “General” and then use the “Passcode Lock” to set a lock on your phone.
7. Take a photo of a recipe.
8. Beware of Internet fraud.
- Don’t click on an unknown link.
- Don’t open email from sources you don’t know.
- Don’t believe that someone from Nigeria wants to give you $940,000,000.
8. Keep your iPhone up to date.
