- Open Settings
- Go to General and scroll down to Passcode Lock
- Open Passcode Lock
- And click on “Turn Passcode On!”
- Enter a four digit passcode.
- You will be asked to “Re-enter your passcode.”
- At that point, you are done.
- The next time your phone goes to sleep, you will have to type a “passcode” to unlock your phone.
